Brian Izaga started the match with the kick off. Gonzalo Perl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Kosin Sihotang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isidro Camara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nickolous Item in the 7th minute of play. Magallanes's Isidro Camara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Magallanes from getting a goal against them. Antonio Mackenzie hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, Antonio Mackenzie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Putra Rewulu's Nickolous Item dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When Lino Bombal fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Magallanes's protests and gave Lino Bombal a yellow card for diving instead. Darso Sudarmaji struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Isidro Camara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Putra Rewulu. Lino Bombal hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Samuel Pacull hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Isidro Camara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anakoz Lembang in the 32nd minute of play. Putra Rewulu were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Magallanes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anakoz Lembang took the corner. Putra Rewulu's Anakoz Lembang was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Isidro Camara in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 35 minutes into the match, Magallanes's Gonzalo Perl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kosin Sihotang narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Magallanes's goal looked a bit too open when Anakoz Lembang came free, but Isidro Camara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rdth minute of the game Brian Izaga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Putra Rewulu's Kosin Sihotang was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 44 played minutes Magallanes got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Perl. 45 minutes into the game, Anakoz Lembang was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Putra Rewulu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Magallanes the free kick. Anakoz Lembang hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nickolous Item to strike the kick off in the second half. Anakoz Lembang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Camara having to interfere. Ading Prabaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Isidro Camara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Darso Sudarmaji fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Putra Rewulu's protests and gave Darso Sudarmaji a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Putra Rewulu getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Darso Sudarmaji hit a great ball. Darso Sudarmaji kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Putra Rewulu's Anton Nainggolan got a free kick in the 74th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gonzalo Perl in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kosin Sihotang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 89 played minutes Magallanes got a freekick which was hit by Brian Izaga. After 93 minutes of play Magallanes's Lino Bombal was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 92nd minute, one of Magallanes:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Magallanes. The referee gave Putra Rewulu a penalty, 94 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nickolous Item, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Magallanes's Isidro Camara. 2-0. Putra Rewulu's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
