But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cyrus McCain couldn't finish the play. NDG Fury FC's Arnoldo Rosas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luuk Smekens in the 26th minute of play. Arnoldo Rosas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luuk Smekens in the 27th minute of the match. Fidel Kohler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bertan Aelemans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Cyrus McCain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertan Aelemans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Jacob Dekkers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ad Fundum's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NDG Fury FC the free kick. Jacob Dekkers kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ad Fundum's zone, Fidel Kohler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertan Aelemans came out of the goal and Fidel Kohler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Randal Boston during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th minute, Randal Boston hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hector Leroy took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arnoldo Rosas. NDG Fury FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Arnoldo Rosas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kris Daniels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kris Daniels to strike the kick off in the second half. Kris Daniels could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Arnoldo Rosas made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Kris Daniels kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arnoldo Rosas. That made the score 0-2 in the 60 minute of play. Luuk Smekens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Rosas having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Ad Fundum's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Kohler came free, but Bertan Aelemans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of NDG Fury FC booed when Ad Fundum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luuk Smekens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kris Daniels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the match, NDG Fury FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luuk Smekens came free, but Arnoldo Rosas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Roman Donahue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of NDG Fury FC booed when Ad Fundum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mitch Helssen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnoldo Rosas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tim-Jan Thijs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Timmy Godfrey fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NDG Fury FC's protests and gave Timmy Godfrey a yellow card for diving instead. Timmy Godfrey kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. A hard shot 91 in the game by Tim-Jan Thijs from a close distance when the talented Arnoldo Rosas managed to make a qualified save. NDG Fury FC's players were relieved.
