In the 5th minute, Leo Söderman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Olof Odin in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pontus Valström saved Blåvitt from getting behind. Sven-Olof Odin struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Pontus Valström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wolverhampton. The supporters of Wolverhampton booed when Blåvitt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Wiklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. John Damm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pontus Valström having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Rolf Collin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Malcolm Knutsson. That made the score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. In the 21st minute, Nils Stål reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Malcolm Knutsson. The goal made the score 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Olof Odin in the 26th minute of play forced Blåvitt's goalkeeper Pontus Valström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Wolverhampton's goal looked a bit too open when Rolf Collin came free, but Malcolm Knutsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wolverhampton's Malcolm Knutsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Wolverhampton from getting a goal against them. Sakarias Ahlroth kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Daniel Levander hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. A collision led to Wolverhampton getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Albert Lundblad hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Blåvitt's Nils Stål ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Malcolm Knutsson. Malcolm Knutsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nils Stål during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Sven-Olof Odin made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Rolf Collin made a precise shot to the right of Malcolm Knutsson. Wolverhampton's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Malcolm Knutsson came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Blåvitt's Rolf Collin. But to his dismay, Rolf Collin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. After 72 minutes, Sakarias Ahlroth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wolverhampton and the Blåvitt players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sakarias Ahlroth kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Henrik Valler was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 73 minutes into the match. The supporters of Blåvitt booed when Wolverhampton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Valler didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Leo Söderman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blåvitt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leo Söderman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wolverhampton's Malcolm Knutsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolf Collin in the 77th minute of play. Wolverhampton's attentive Bror Biörnberg managed to snatch the ball when Morgan Lundgren made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolf Collin in the 87th minute of play forced Wolverhampton's goalkeeper Malcolm Knutsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute Fritz Blomqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malcolm Knutsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malcolm Knutsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolf Collin in the 94th minute of play. The Blåvitt fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when Blåvitt's Rolf Collin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Blåvitt fully deserved thier win.
