Pontus Valström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vambola Probach in the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Blåvitt's goal looked a bit too open when Vambola Probach came free, but Pontus Valström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of JFSP booed when Blåvitt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ola Wallman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 played minutes, JFSP's Zé Paulo Saldanha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pontus Valström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in JFSP reached it. In the 18th minute, Vambola Probach made a precise shot to the right of Pontus Valström. Blåvitt's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Pontus Valström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. JFSP were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Blåvitt's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gláuber Fonseca took the corner. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vambola Probach in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pontus Valström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute, Ola Wallman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pontus Valström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vambola Probach in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Gonçalves in the 32nd minute of play forced Blåvitt's goalkeeper Pontus Valström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Ismael Neiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pontus Valström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When JFSP's Vambola Probach in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Blåvitt's goalie prevented a goal. Rolf Collin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thibault Mamardashvili having to interfere. Thibault Mamardashvili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolf Collin, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vambola Probach made a kick off. A collision led to Blåvitt getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Robert Malmström hit a great ball. After 56 played minutes Blåvitt got a freekick which was hit by Olov Wiklund. Danilo Gonçalves shot from long distance after 56 played minutes, a shot that Pontus Valström with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. After 58 played minutes JFSP got a freekick which was hit by Hermínio Meirelles. When Ismael Neiva fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JFSP's protests and gave Ismael Neiva a yellow card for diving instead. After 60 played minutes JFSP got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Neiva. JFSP's Ismael Velloso was substituted for Pedro Paulo Peixoto. In the 61st match minute, JFSP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Neiva to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Blåvitt's Pontus Valström got control of the ball when Zé Paulo Saldanha tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 66th minute, Ismael Neiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismael Velloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pontus Valström having to interfere. A hard shot by Ismael Velloso from long distance, 75 minutes into the match, got Pontus Valström's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Vambola Probach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Pontus Valström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pontus Valström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vambola Probach in the 91st minute of play forced Blåvitt's goalkeeper Pontus Valström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pontus Valström came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by JFSP's Vambola Probach. But to his dismay, Vambola Probach quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. JFSP's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
