Gunter Roelands kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Luuk Smekens hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Bertan Aelemans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Svensson in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Gunter Roelands was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ad Fundum's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Snipers the free kick. Ad Fundum were furious when Hector Leroy was red carded, 10 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of FC Snipers booed when Ad Fundum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Leroy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bertan Aelemans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarl Nässén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th match minute, FC Snipers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göran Olofsson to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the game, Arman Bremming cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bertan Aelemans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 30th minute Göran Olofsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertan Aelemans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pieter-Maarten Ballette hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the game, FC Snipers's Martin Hedlund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bertan Aelemans made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Göran Olofsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Bertan Aelemans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, FC Snipers's goalkeeper Olov Groth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kris Daniels. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göran Olofsson in the 48th minute of play forced Ad Fundum's goalkeeper Bertan Aelemans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kris Daniels to strike the kick off in the second half. Lennart Svensson struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Bertan Aelemans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Snipers. Lennart Svensson took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bertan Aelemans. Bertan Aelemans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 60th minute, FC Snipers's Greger Kullgren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bertan Aelemans. Bertan Aelemans yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. In the 65th minute, Kris Daniels got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ad Fundum's Tim-Jan Thijs got a free kick in the 67th minute. If Martin Hedlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 70 minutes into the match, Ad Fundum's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Olofsson came free, but Bertan Aelemans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bertan Aelemans made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Lennart Svensson sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute, Jarl Nässén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute, Arman Bremming got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Ad Fundum getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Tim-Jan Thijs hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Arman Bremming's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bertan Aelemans was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. After 93 played minutes Ad Fundum got a freekick which was hit by Gunter Roelands. FC Snipers played a much better game than Ad Fundum and deserved their victory. The Ad Fundum players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
