Kolopetinitsa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alkis Athanasiou in the 8th minute of play forced Fenerbahçe S.K.'s goalkeeper Marin White to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marin White came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Kolopetinitsa's Sokratis Kagiasis. But to his dismay, Sokratis Kagiasis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Lazaros Manolopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jermaine Preston in the 17th minute of play. Iakovos Ksiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Louie Théberge got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Alkis Athanasiou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Alkis Athanasiou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kolopetinitsa's supporters rose to their feet, but Alkis Athanasiou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marin White breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd minute of the match, Jermaine Preston tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lazaros Manolopoulos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 33 minutes, Lambros Karpodinis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kolopetinitsa and the Fenerbahçe S.K. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jermaine Preston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Lazaros Manolopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Marin White played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alkis Athanasiou in the 39th minute of play. Louie Théberge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Louie Théberges short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Lazaros Manolopoulos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Kolopetinitsa getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Alkis Athanasiou hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Alkis Athanasiou made the kick off in the second half. Lazaros Manolopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jermaine Preston in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Kolopetinitsa's goal looked a bit too open when Jermaine Preston came free, but Lazaros Manolopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 55 in the game by Alkis Athanasiou from a close distance when the talented Marin White managed to make a qualified save. Fenerbahçe S.K.'s players were relieved. After having played for 57 minutes, Jermaine Preston managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fenerbahçe S.K.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Jermaine Preston was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Louie Théberge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lazaros Manolopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louie Théberge in the 63rd minute of the match. 72 minutes into the game, Gabriel Velazquez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fenerbahçe S.K.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kolopetinitsa the free kick. After a rather tough play, Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Gabriel Velazquez got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Alkis Athanasiou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jermaine Preston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lazaros Manolopoulos having to interfere. A collision led to Fenerbahçe S.K. getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Louie Théberge hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Larry Strickland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fenerbahçe S.K.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Larry Strickland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lazaros Manolopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lazaros Manolopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louie Théberge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alkis Athanasiou got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Kolopetinitsa getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Alkis Athanasiou hit a great ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
