After a rather tough play, AFTER GYM FC's Gaudencio Darien got a free kick in the 9th minute. AFTER GYM FC's Ricardo Mosen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Karlberg in the 12th minute of play. In the 17th minute Adam Karlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Mosen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Geleberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niclas Svanberg having to interfere. If Anastasio Tercero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldomiro Jokin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niclas Svanberg having to interfere. The AFTER GYM FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Mosen should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Baldomiro Jokin managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFTER GYM FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomiro Jokin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niclas Svanberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adam Karlberg to make the kick off. With his leg Ricardo Mosen managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when LA VIOLA's Adam Karlberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in LA VIOLA's zone, Anastasio Tercero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niclas Svanberg came out of the goal and Anastasio Tercero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Anastasio Tercero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of AFTER GYM FC booed when LA VIOLA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christer Hansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. LA VIOLA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adam Karlberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Harry Galle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ricardo Mosen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Karlberg got free with Ricardo Mosen in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. LA VIOLA were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over AFTER GYM FC's much stronger midfield.
