Mathias-Alexander De Block showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Russell Davison, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 6th minute Niki Roelants shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rex Marler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niki Roelants took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rex Marler. Rex Marler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Russell Davison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Angelo Gelens fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bruly's protests and gave Angelo Gelens a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bruly getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Angelo Gelens hit a great ball. When Simon Roche came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Arrows Academy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Roche couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute of the match, Luc Van Linthaut tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rex Marler saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Arrows Academy FC's Rex Marler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niki Roelants in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Kurt Boyce was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arrows Academy FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bruly the free kick. Bruly made a substitution. Theo Raymaekers replaced Matthieu Van den Berge. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Arrows Academy FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bruly:s goal. In the 21st minute, Angelo Gelens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rex Marler was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 27th minute, Camron Bullard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Phil Roy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 played minutes Bruly got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Gelens. After a rather tough play, Arrows Academy FC's Camron Bullard got a free kick in the 37th minute. Niki Roelants fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rex Marler having to interfere. Mathias-Alexander De Block showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Russell Davison in the 44th minute of the match. If Russell Davison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Russell Davison was the one to do the kick off. When Angelo Gelens was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 52 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Bruly's Angelo Gelens got a free kick in the 52nd minute. With his leg Mathias-Alexander De Block managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Arrows Academy FC's Russell Davison fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Russell Davison kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Arrows Academy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Theo Raymaekers came free, but Rex Marler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Camron Bullard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Russell Davison recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Simon Roche kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Mathias-Alexander De Block made an important save on a dangerous shot by Russell Davison in the 68th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Simon Roche managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arrows Academy FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Simon Roche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mathias-Alexander De Block breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rex Marler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niki Roelants in the 74th minute of the match. Russell Davison's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Mathias-Alexander De Block skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Russell Davison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Russell Davison struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Mathias-Alexander De Block didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arrows Academy FC. Arrows Academy FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
