Muget's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Congo Bongo the free kick. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Muget! When Cătălin Crașovan fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Muget's protests and gave Cătălin Crașovan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th minute, Cătălin Crașovan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 19 played minutes Muget got a freekick which was hit by Mădălin Moromete. With 23 minutes on the clock, Amadeo Belmiro commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Congo Bongo's Amadeo Belmiro got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Ştefan Coman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nistor Beșlius short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Baltasar Maria to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sebastian Zogreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Bortzaioriz in the 41st minute of play. Ramiro Blai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 minutes, Eusebio Nisio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Congo Bongo and the Muget players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Congo Bongo getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Eusebio Nisio hit a great ball.

The supporters of Congo Bongo booed when Muget was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mădălin Moromete didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Eusebio Nisio came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Congo Bongo fans jumped to their feet. Vinicio Gizon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Sebastian Zogreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jonatan Bortzaioriz came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Congo Bongo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonatan Bortzaioriz couldn't finish the play. After 93 played minutes Muget got a freekick which was hit by Costică Alb. Sebastian Zogreanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Blai in the 94th minute of the match.
