After a rather tough play, Atlético Ourense's Avellano Ortega got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 11 minutes into the match, Leandro Vasco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pau Sánchez. Atlético Ourense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leandro Vasco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Eduino Maroto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enrique Rosalio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute Leandro Vasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pau Sánchez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Avellano Ortega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Deportivo Messina getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Hugo Tuste hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Messina's Marcos Lucila got a free kick in the 27th minute. When Atlético Ourense's Huly Barberá in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Deportivo Messina's goalie prevented a goal. The throw-in from Marcos Lucila in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Atlético Ourense's Avellano Ortega. Gabriel Donzel kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 36th match minute, Atlético Ourense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avellano Ortega to maneuver through the defense. If Eduino Maroto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a rather tough play, Atlético Ourense's Evarado Castellano got a free kick in the 55th minute. Leandro Vasco might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pau Sánchez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leandro Vasco ran back to his position shaking his head. Leandro Vasco scored 2-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pau Sánchez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Hugo Tuste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leandro Vasco in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pau Sánchez saved Atlético Ourense from getting behind. Deportivo Messina were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Atlético Ourense's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Omar Felipo took the corner. The corner led Deportivo Messina's Omar Felipo to fire away a dangerous shot which Pau Sánchez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Enrique Rosalio came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Ourense's Huly Barberá. But to his dismay, Huly Barberá quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Leandro Vasco kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Eduino Maroto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Enrique Rosalio made a huge save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Deportivo Messina had played much better football throughout.
