Kip Connelly was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vladimiro Nicholas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. After 11 played minutes Valencia Santa Fe got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Chano. 14 minutes into the match, Valencia Santa Fe's goal looked a bit too open when Tommie Kirkpatrick came free, but Leon Lizbeth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Sanford Adkins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kip Connelly made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Denis Kauldi sent off a good shot on target. 19 minutes into the match, Creekers's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Nicholas came free, but Kip Connelly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Creekers booed when Valencia Santa Fe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Fidensio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leon Lizbeth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommie Kirkpatrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 27 played minutes Creekers got a freekick which was hit by Orville Perdue. In the 29th minute, Rashad Elliott hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Valencia Santa Fe's Vladimiro Nicholas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kip Connelly. That made the score 2-0 after 30 minutes of play. Tuan Tackett kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Creekers's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Matxin came free, but Kip Connelly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommie Kirkpatrick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Lizbeth having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommie Kirkpatrick in the 43rd minute of play forced Valencia Santa Fe's goalkeeper Leon Lizbeth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Creekers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Vladimiro Nicholas scored to the left of an out of position Kip Connelly, making the score, 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vladimiro Nicholas was the one to do the kick off. When Desmond Patterson came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Creekers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Desmond Patterson couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute, Tommie Kirkpatrick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kip Connelly took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Rodriguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommie Kirkpatrick in the 63rd minute of play forced Valencia Santa Fe's goalkeeper Leon Lizbeth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Denis Kauldi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kip Connelly was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Creekers's Tommie Kirkpatrick got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valencia Santa Fe's Leon Lizbeth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desmond Patterson in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Creekers's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Kauldi came free, but Kip Connelly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leon Lizbeth came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Creekers's Tommie Kirkpatrick. But to his dismay, Tommie Kirkpatrick quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Desmond Patterson hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Desmond Patterson during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th minute Vladimiro Nicholas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kip Connelly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kip Connelly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Matxin, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 90th match minute, Creekers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orville Perdue to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Pio in the 91st minute of play forced Creekers's goalkeeper Kip Connelly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Valencia Santa Fe had won after a very even match.
