Jean Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Matxin in the 9th minute of the match. Leon Lizbeth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Paulo Neiva in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Valencia Santa Fe booed when Mukifus FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antônio Carlos Tróia didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ignacio Matxin came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Valencia Santa Fe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacio Matxin couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the match, Mukifus FSCMZ's goalkeeper Jean Romero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ignacio Matxin. 25 minutes into the match, João Paulo Neiva notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Valencia Santa Fe's Leon Lizbeth. Leon Lizbeth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Valencia Santa Fe's Denis Kauldi got a free kick in the 42nd minute.

João Paulo Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Leon Lizbeth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Thierry Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dino Vasconcelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st match minute, Mukifus FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Sá to maneuver through the defense. Jean Romero came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Valencia Santa Fe's Vladimiro Nicholas. But to his dismay, Vladimiro Nicholas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Denis Kauldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean Romero having to interfere. In the 68th minute Vladimiro Nicholas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jean Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Matxin, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Matxin in the 87th minute of play forced Mukifus FSCMZ's goalkeeper Jean Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Valencia Santa Fe booed when Mukifus FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antônio Carlos Tróia didn't get a good kick on the ball. William Sá took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leon Lizbeth. Valencia Santa Fe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
