Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Venezia FC's Santos Ferdinand started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Venezia FC's Santos Ferdinand in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Benigno Sanduru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 6 minutes into the game, Santos Ferdinand recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benigno Sanduru. Santos Ferdinand showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 9th minute, Domingo Lidon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11thth minute of the game Bernabe Cidro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Iguazu's Benigno Sanduru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Venezia FC's Clemente Rodriguez got a free kick in the 12th minute. Amado Larra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Orlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benigno Sanduru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santos Ferdinand went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Santos Ferdinand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Benigno Sanduru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Dionisio Frichoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezia FC's Amado Larra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Orlan in the 25th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Aurelio Niguel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Santos Ferdinand's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benigno Sanduru was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Ferdinand in the 47th minute of play forced Deportivo Iguazu's goalkeeper Benigno Sanduru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelio Niguel during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 87 played minutes Deportivo Iguazu got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Niguel. When Mauro Sein fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Iguazu's protests and gave Mauro Sein a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Deportivo Iguazu getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Mauro Sein hit a great ball.
