Calvin Vaughan hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute, Tiaguinho Coelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 7th minute, Kent Barling left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manly FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With 14 minutes on the clock, Virgil Van Dijck commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A hard shot by Tostão Melo from long distance, 15 minutes into the match, got Case Tisdell's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Kent Barling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Sydney Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Edwardo Marsland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manly FC's Case Tisdell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Manly FC from getting a goal against them.

The supporters of Manly FC booed when Granadero10 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tostão Melo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Case Tisdell came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Granadero10's Virgílio Seco. But to his dismay, Virgílio Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 68th match minute, Granadero10 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Vasconcelos to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute, Vinícius das Neves made a precise shot to the right of Case Tisdell. Manly FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Manly FC's Case Tisdell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgílio Seco in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of Granadero10 booed when Manly FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neale Franklin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Granadero10's Tostão Melo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 87th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Manly FC. After 88 minutes, Francisco Netto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Granadero10 and the Manly FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Francisco Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Cullen Fordham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Granadero10 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Manly FC for a fine match.
