Franz Dunlop was left in no man's land by his defense there! 13 minutes into the match, The Tigers's goalkeeper Franz Dunlop had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michael Kuijsten. Grant Leighton charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Grant Leighton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to The Tigers getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Grant Leighton hit a great ball. Franz Dunlop made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Michael Kuijsten sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes into the match, Camron Collier notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Mijdrecht Maffia's Rik Numan. Rik Numan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Franz Dunlop made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Michael Kuijsten sent off a good shot on target. Marcel Blanc kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Roger Barton hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 34thth minute of the game Marcel Blanc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Tigers's Franz Dunlop was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 35 minutes, Fred Guest mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Tigers and the Mijdrecht Maffia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, The Tigers's Fred Guest got a free kick in the 35th minute. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Michael Kuijsten sped through The Tigers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Franz Dunlop. In the 43rd minute, Liam Clark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Mijdrecht Maffia booed when The Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fraser Morgan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franz Dunlop took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gertjan Theisens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Michael Kuijsten made a kick off. Franz Dunlop came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Mijdrecht Maffia's Michael Kuijsten. But to his dismay, Michael Kuijsten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Roger Barton hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Marcel Blanc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franz Dunlop having to interfere. The Tigers's Franz Dunlop played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Kuijsten in the 63rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gertjan Theisens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franz Dunlop was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Kuijsten in the 70th minute of play forced The Tigers's goalkeeper Franz Dunlop to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franz Dunlop took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Kuijsten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michael Kuijsten took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franz Dunlop. Franz Dunlop dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. The audience was convinced that Michael Kuijsten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franz Dunlop was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. In the 78thth minute of the game Gertjan Theisens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Tigers's Franz Dunlop was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Michael Kuijsten came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Mijdrecht Maffia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Kuijsten couldn't finish the play. Michael Kuijsten might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franz Dunlop. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michael Kuijsten ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Kuijsten in the 94th minute of play forced The Tigers's goalkeeper Franz Dunlop to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Michael Kuijsten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franz Dunlop. The Tigers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michael Kuijsten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Mijdrecht Maffia's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
