After 15 minutes, David Medley made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Kesoku FC's Justo Umea tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kesoku FC's Justo Umea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dean Cheetham in the 17th minute of play. Justo Umea came out of the goal and Patrick Colman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tadeo Basajaun kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After having played for 25 minutes, Dean Cheetham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mayo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dean Cheetham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Kesoku FC's goal looked a bit too open when Johnathon Holt came free, but Justo Umea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Mayo booed when Kesoku FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Brion didn't get a good kick on the ball. Justo Umea was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dean Cheetham showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 42 minute of play. After 45 minutes, David Medley made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Kesoku FC's Justo Umea tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for David Medley to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, David Medley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mayo's supporters rose to their feet, but David Medley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justo Umea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mayo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
