Hermenegildo Ledo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aprígio Campos in the 11th minute. The supporters of VB-Team booed when Fuerzas Armadas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabri Gandia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Fuerzas Armadas's goal looked a bit too open when Aprígio Campos came free, but Hermenegildo Ledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Braulio Gomar during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th minute, Braulio Gomar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Gomar in the 59th minute of play forced VB-Team's goalkeeper Aprígio Eanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidel Labarra couldn't finish the play. Hermenegildo Ledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aprígio Campos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
