Alcantarilla FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Montgomery Burns scored to the left of an out of position Venceslás Aguilo, making the score, 1-0. The supporters of Alcantarilla FC booed when Galmock FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Homero Thomson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 minutes, Marciano Cacheres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alcantarilla FC and the Galmock FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Justino Zurica's late challenge caught a Galmock FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justino Zurica helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Alcantarilla FC's Justino Zurica got a free kick in the 21st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximino Lopes got free with Venceslás Aguilo in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute of the match, Montgomery Burns tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Venceslás Aguilo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Lalo Landa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Venceslás Aguilo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Venceslás Aguilo made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Dante Hondo sent off a good shot on target. Lalo Landa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Venceslás Aguilo made a huge save. Galmock FC's Federico Goren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Coello in the 41st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gabriel Coello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Federico Goren was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. With an all-out effort, Galmock FC's Venceslás Aguilo threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Homero Thomson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Galmock FC's Dante Hondo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Venceslás Aguilo. That made the score 2-0 after 44 minutes of play. Galmock FC's Montgomery Burns got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lalo Landa to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Montgomery Burns in the 52nd minute of play forced Alcantarilla FC's goalkeeper Venceslás Aguilo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Federico Goren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Coello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venceslás Aguilo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Montgomery Burns in the 62nd minute of play. Venceslás Aguilo came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Galmock FC's Lalo Landa. But to his dismay, Lalo Landa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 68th minute Dante Hondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venceslás Aguilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venceslás Aguilo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Montgomery Burns, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Lalo Landa scored 4-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Venceslás Aguilo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 75 minutes into the match, Alcantarilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Montgomery Burns came free, but Venceslás Aguilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Mazuste Fuentes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Lalo Landa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Venceslás Aguilo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 82 minutes into the game, Montgomery Burns was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galmock FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alcantarilla FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Galmock FC's Montgomery Burns got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the game, Galmock FC's Montgomery Burns nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Venceslás Aguilo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. After a rather tough play, Galmock FC's Lalo Landa got a free kick in the 91st minute. Galmock FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
