Karl-Axel Bammerman's late challenge caught a Villa Verde FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Axel Bammerman helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Villa Verde FC booed when UÅ Mästerbotten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Axel Bammerman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niklas Ström made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Afonso Baiano sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Villa Verde FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Arí Lucas hit a great ball. After 31 minutes, Humberto Velasco made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. UÅ Mästerbotten's Niklas Ström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jacinto Figueiredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Lindberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Lagerberg in the 45th minute of play forced Villa Verde FC's goalkeeper Jacinto Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Villa Verde FC made a substitution. Falcão Esteves replaced Claudinei Duarte. The wind increased when Claudinho Fantini made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Claudinho Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Ström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacinto Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Lindberg in the 55th minute of play. Willian Vergílio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Betinho Lira fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villa Verde FC's protests and gave Betinho Lira a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Villa Verde FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! Jacinto Figueiredo had in the 70thth minute some difficulties stopping Karl-Axel Bammerman's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 73rd match minute, UÅ Mästerbotten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikael Valrot to maneuver through the defense. Niklas Ström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho Fantini in the 76th minute of play. Niklas Ström came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Villa Verde FC's Claudinho Fantini. But to his dismay, Claudinho Fantini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 83 minutes into the match, Villa Verde FC's goalkeeper Jacinto Figueiredo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arne Lagerberg. Jacinto Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arne Lagerberg in the 85th minute of the match. Niklas Ström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willian Vergílio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jesper Wallin hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Antônio Carlos Madureira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa Verde FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Antônio Carlos Madureira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niklas Ström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th match minute, Villa Verde FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arí Lucas to maneuver through the defense. Villa Verde FC's Jacinto Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Lindberg in the 95th minute of play. Villa Verde FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
