Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Sreten Fatić successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Newpi Academy's zone, Vladislav Lalević stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benji Price came out of the goal and Vladislav Lalević tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bogdan Bogdanović's late challenge caught a Newpi Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bogdan Bogdanović helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th minute, Bogdan Bogdanović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Radnicki 1923 Kg-Stars™'s zone, Sixto Richie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sreten Fatić came out of the goal and Sixto Richie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sreten Fatić was a little too slow when Severiano Hurko got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-0. With a little luck, Radnicki 1923 Kg-Stars™'s Sreten Fatić got control of the ball when Severiano Hurko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bogdan Bogdanović lost his temper 27 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Radnicki 1923 Kg-Stars™'s Bogdan Bogdanović got a free kick in the 28th minute. Andres Pacifico struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Sreten Fatić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newpi Academy. When Bojan Milinčić fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Radnicki 1923 Kg-Stars™'s protests and gave Bojan Milinčić a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Radnicki 1923 Kg-Stars™ getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Bojan Milinčić hit a great ball. Sreten Fatić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andres Pacifico in the 37th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 53rd minute Vladislav Lalević shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benji Price saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sreten Fatić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Pacifico, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Sreten Fatić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Hurko in the 59th minute of the match. Sreten Fatić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Richie in the 61st minute of play. Srđan Miličković sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladislav Lalević in the 68th minute of play forced Newpi Academy's goalkeeper Benji Price to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Newpi Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Srđan Miličković came free, but Benji Price reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sreten Fatić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Richie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Severiano Hurko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 94 minutes, Camilo Berdoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newpi Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camilo Berdoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
