FC Barcelona Lassa's Eduard Lutsevich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Aimar in the 69th minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Prokl Bogatikov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Barcelona Lassa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cougars FC the free kick. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Barcelona Lassa would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
