The Club Universidad Nacional fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Lorenzo Aimar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 31 minutes into the match, Westbam's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Pio came free, but Gwidon Iwanowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 played minutes Westbam got a freekick which was hit by Wladyslaw Laskowski. Jerzy Maziarski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Fernando Abarca made a huge save. In the 36th minute, Napoleon Kaczanka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Aimar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Gwidon Iwanowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Westbam's Hieronim Marajda got a free kick in the 41st minute. 45 minutes into the match, Westbam's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Pio came free, but Gwidon Iwanowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
