Rio Percy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cafu Alagoano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. But to his dismay, Cafu Alagoano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. 65 minutes into the match, Rio Percy's goalkeeper Gerardo Rius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Renato Gonçalves. The MAZER SAF fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when MAZER SAF's Cafu Alagoano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. MAZER SAF's Ángel Romero got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 74 minutes into the game, Cafu Alagoano lined in a short shot 0-9 behind a frustrated Gerardo Rius. After 77 minutes of play, MAZER SAF's Paulo Renato Gonçalves made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thanks to some nice moves Cafu Alagoano could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Gerardo Rius however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Rio Percy's Ramiro Umbruso got a free kick in the 89th minute. Cafu Alagoano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Gerardo Rius skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 93 minutes, Ángel Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MAZER SAF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ángel Romero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gerardo Rius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ángel Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. MAZER SAF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
