In the 21st minute, NAGANO F.C's Ugutz Castroviejo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ugutz Castroviejo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of NAGANO F.C protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ugutz Castroviejo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 22 minutes into the match, NAGANO F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Christiano de Azevedo came free, but Leoverliz Masses reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jardel Abraão in the 25th minute of play forced NAGANO F.C's goalkeeper Leoverliz Masses to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benê Tande charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benê Tande the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 30 minutes, Jaime Roig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NAGANO F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Roig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes into the match, NAGANO F.C's Jaime Roig sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Almir Machado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Jardel Abraão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leoverliz Masses was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Benê Tande got a free kick in the 58th minute. Almir Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Roig, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute.
