After a rather tough play, Rocky Balboa F.C.'s Alejo Baleren got a free kick in the 37th minute. A collision led to Rocky Balboa F.C. getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Alejo Baleren hit a great ball. Augusto Loren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Ponce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Honorato Tauro was the one to do the kick off. Copetonas AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Higinio Bartoli ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Copetonas AFC's goalie and right to Lucio Tab. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Copetonas AFC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 83 minutes into the match, Rocky Balboa F.C.'s Lucio Tab sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dario Opilano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Copetonas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Tab came free, but Dario Opilano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dario Opilano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Firmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Copetonas AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
