The throw-in from Erick Soberano in the 20th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by GREEK ARMY's Markos Triantafyllou. The supporters of GREEK ARMY booed when S O B E R A N O CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélio da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alkis Kalaboukas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osmar Luz in the 23rd minute of play. Osmar Luz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th match minute, S O B E R A N O CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erick Soberano to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the game, S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Thiago Soberano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alkis Kalaboukas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Alkis Kalaboukas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osmar Luz in the 39th minute of play. Juvenal Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. When Nestoras Lazopoulos fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GREEK ARMY's protests and gave Nestoras Lazopoulos a yellow card for diving instead. Alkis Kalaboukas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thiago Soberano in the 48th minute of the match. Ilias Soulios thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Alkis Kalaboukas, a very annoying self made goal in the 50th minute which led to 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Osmar Luz to strike the kick off in the second half. Alkis Kalaboukas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Osmar Luz in the 65th minute. In the 72nd minute, S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Osmar Luz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. If Stratos Alexatos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute Stratos Alexatos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osmar Luz got free with Alkis Kalaboukas in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Osmar Luz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 98thth minute tested the skills of Alkis Kalaboukas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thiago Soberano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Alkis Kalaboukas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chants of S O B E R A N O CIMZ echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as GREEK ARMY had held the ball for most of the match.
