Alkis Kalaboukas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Sepsiszentgyörgy's Ivan Enceanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Sepsiszentgyörgy from getting a goal against them. Alkis Kalaboukas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manole Iftode in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to GREEK ARMY getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Nestoras Lazopoulos hit a great ball. Sepsiszentgyörgy's Ivan Enceanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Sepsiszentgyörgy from getting a goal against them. Stratos Alexatos scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Enceanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Sepsiszentgyörgy's Manole Iftode in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GREEK ARMY's goalie prevented a goal. Daniil Papakostakis's late challenge caught a Sepsiszentgyörgy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. After 38 played minutes GREEK ARMY got a freekick which was hit by Daniil Papakostakis. 39 minutes into the game, Markos Triantafyllou was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GREEK ARMY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sepsiszentgyörgy the free kick. 42 minutes into the match, GREEK ARMY's goal looked a bit too open when Manole Iftode came free, but Alkis Kalaboukas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alkis Kalaboukas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manole Iftode in the 46th minute of play. Sepsiszentgyörgy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ernest Trică in the 48th minute. Sepsiszentgyörgy's Ernest Trică was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alkis Kalaboukas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Manole Iftode made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match Valerios Tsibos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivan Enceanu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Sepsiszentgyörgy's Mihăiţă Lițu got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, Nestoras Lazopoulos sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sepsiszentgyörgy's Ivan Enceanu didn't even have to move. Alkis Kalaboukas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manole Iftode in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stratos Alexatos in the 69th minute of play forced Sepsiszentgyörgy's goalkeeper Ivan Enceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st match minute, Sepsiszentgyörgy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vintilă Gheondea to maneuver through the defense. Alkis Kalaboukas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manole Iftode, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 80 minutes into the game, Manole Iftode recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alkis Kalaboukas. Manole Iftode showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Alkis Kalaboukas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vintilă Gheondea in the 84th minute. 89 minutes into the match, GREEK ARMY's goal looked a bit too open when Manole Iftode came free, but Alkis Kalaboukas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alkis Kalaboukas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manole Iftode's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. The Sepsiszentgyörgy players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
