The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes of play, MUSHIBA FC's Gil Meira made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manos Voutsas was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Bazellatin F.C. booed when MUSHIBA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute, Severino Marquez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manos Voutsas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. MUSHIBA FC's Severino Marquez got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bazellatin F.C.'s Manos Voutsas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Marquez in the 18th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Bazellatin F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Louis Theofilopoulos. Manos Voutsas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Stratos Savouras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquinho do Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, MUSHIBA FC's Severino Marquez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manos Voutsas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 29th minute, Aris Chatziaggelis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Chiquinho do Nascimento. The goal made the score 1-3. Bazellatin F.C.'s Manos Voutsas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Marquez in the 33rd minute of play. 33 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when MUSHIBA FC's Gil Meira fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Louis Theofilopoulos hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Severino Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Severino Marquez to make the kick off. Gil Meira came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Manos Voutsas could save by the left post. After 53 minutes of play, MUSHIBA FC's Severino Marquez made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manos Voutsas was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 61st minute Aris Chatziaggelis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquinho do Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Gil Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to MUSHIBA FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Gil Meira hit a great ball. Severino Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Severino Marquez took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Manos Voutsas to make any attempt to save it. 76 minutes into the match, Bazellatin F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Severino Marquez came free, but Manos Voutsas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Mattos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MUSHIBA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bazellatin F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, MUSHIBA FC's Arnaldo Mattos got a free kick in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Bazellatin F.C.'s Thalis Tzavaras broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 80th match minute, MUSHIBA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raí Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. MUSHIBA FC's Raí Nogueira got his second yellow card of the match in the 81st minute. The referee ordered Raí Nogueira off the ground. After 81 played minutes MUSHIBA FC got a freekick which was hit by Raí Nogueira. In the 82nd minute, Thalis Tzavaras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Severino Marquez struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Manos Voutsas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MUSHIBA FC. After a rather tough play, MUSHIBA FC's Severino Marquez got a free kick in the 90th minute. Aris Chatziaggelis's late challenge caught a MUSHIBA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aris Chatziaggelis helped the player get up and apologised. The Bazellatin F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching MUSHIBA FC's performance. The match ended with a win for MUSHIBA FC.
