Dionisio Faro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Seth Yeats's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Dionisio Faro acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 6th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Tracy Pennington. In the 7th minute, Dario Bazil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gimnasia y tiro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Seth Yeats came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Slower Lower FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Seth Yeats couldn't finish the play. Ezra Griggs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Bazil in the 13th minute of play. After having played for 16 minutes, Dario Bazil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gimnasia y tiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dario Bazil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Seth Yeats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Dionisio Faro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Seth Yeats in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dionisio Faro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Francisco Henderson kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Ezra Griggs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Bazil in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to Slower Lower FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Adalberto Numbers hit a great ball. The supporters of Gimnasia y tiro booed when Slower Lower FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacob Scruggs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ezra Griggs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Basualdo, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Jacob Scruggs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Henderson got free with Dionisio Faro in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Jacob Scruggs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dionisio Faro was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Damaso Benvido kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54thth minute of the game Seth Yeats who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gimnasia y tiro's Dionisio Faro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Francisco Henderson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Seth Yeats put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dionisio Faro. Doug Geiger charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Doug Geiger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Slower Lower FC! The referee gave Gimnasia y tiro a penalty, 77 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Segundo Berart, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Slower Lower FC's Ezra Griggs. 4-2. In the 84th minute Armando Basualdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezra Griggs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dario Bazil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brent Wetzel during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th match minute, Slower Lower FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brent Wetzel to maneuver through the defense. Santos Sugoi kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Slower Lower FC had won after a very even match.
