Dragolyub Dudekov started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Dragolyub Dudekov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dariusz Olchawa. Brokopondo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dragolyub Dudekov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Gilbert Dropinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Volodya Variyski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th match minute, DOROSTOL Ss was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vihren Tzintzarov to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the DOROSTOL Ss defense, Konstanty Tyski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Volodya Variyski. The DOROSTOL Ss fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Volodya Variyski should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Golo Gol in the 40th minute of play forced DOROSTOL Ss's goalkeeper Volodya Variyski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to DOROSTOL Ss getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Toshko Gúrnev hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Golo Gol made a kick off. Dariusz Olchawa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ognyan Elmazov in the 59th minute. After a rather tough play, DOROSTOL Ss's Belcho Bekov got a free kick in the 59th minute. Brokopondo's Aleksander Wiater was substituted for Gilbert Dropinski. Konstanty Tyski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Volodya Variyski having to interfere. If Dragolyub Dudekov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dariusz Olchawa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ognyan Elmazov in the 68th minute. Dragolyub Dudekov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Dariusz Olchawa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Klement Barycz during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74th minute, Klement Barycz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of DOROSTOL Ss booed when Brokopondo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Golo Gol didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Brokopondo's Dariusz Olchawa got control of the ball when Ognyan Elmazov tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of DOROSTOL Ss booed when Brokopondo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olaf Filipkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dragolyub Dudekov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 82 minutes, Ognyan Elmazov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DOROSTOL Ss and the Brokopondo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 88 minutes of play, Brokopondo's Golo Gol made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Volodya Variyski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Volodya Variyski came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Brokopondo's Golo Gol. But to his dismay, Golo Gol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. For all the effort they put into the match, the DOROSTOL Ss players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Brokopondo.
