Rick Theisens charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rick Theisens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th minute, COLLEGNO F.C.'s Christian Rotili dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. With a little luck, Revenge's Gijs ter Averst got control of the ball when Donato Del Papa tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferruccio Vasco got free with Gijs ter Averst in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Rotili in the 20th minute of play forced Revenge's goalkeeper Gijs ter Averst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of COLLEGNO F.C. booed when Revenge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Vondel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Rick Theisens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but COLLEGNO F.C.'s Attilio Evangelista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Serge Spiljard took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Attilio Evangelista. Attilio Evangelista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Gerjan Scheerhoorn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Revenge's Gijs ter Averst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Rotili in the 37th minute of play. Gijs ter Averst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Rotili in the 40th minute of the match. Rick Theisens scored 1-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Attilio Evangelista, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rick Theisens in the 47th minute of play forced COLLEGNO F.C.'s goalkeeper Attilio Evangelista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Rotili stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Christian Rotili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferruccio Vasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Gijs ter Averst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute Donato Del Papa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gijs ter Averst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, one of COLLEGNO F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 60 minutes, Revenge's Serge Spiljard got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Attilio Evangelista. Ferruccio Vasco's late challenge caught a Revenge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferruccio Vasco helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to COLLEGNO F.C. getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Ferruccio Vasco hit a great ball. If Donato Del Papa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 minutes, Martien Degenkamp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Revenge and the COLLEGNO F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th minute, Donato Del Papa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by COLLEGNO F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tim Daelemans was slow to take the kick. During this time Revenge's players had a chance to rest. COLLEGNO F.C.'s attentive Andrea Muciaccia managed to snatch the ball when Cees Masker made a throw-in in the 96th minute of the game. In the 99th minute Serge Spiljard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attilio Evangelista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The COLLEGNO F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Revenge's performance. The match ended with a win for Revenge.
