The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laércio Damião was the one to do the kick off. Nestor Azibar's late challenge caught a União Verde FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nestor Azibar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th minute, Nestor Azibar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 64 played minutes Cachilo FC got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Bastiaro. In the 71st minute Ademir Guia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Distiratsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Maximino Domenec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. União Verde FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
