After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Richard Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvinegro Carioca's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard Correia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dionisio Figueres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raúl Gasso charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raúl Gasso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Real Armal F.C. getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Raúl Gasso hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caio Cabral in the 15th minute of play forced Real Armal F.C.'s goalkeeper Dionisio Figueres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 15 played minutes Real Armal F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Eder Mangas. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Augusto Quirino got free with Dionisio Figueres in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Real Armal F.C.'s Dionisio Figueres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reginaldo Paraibano in the 21st minute of play. Charles Maranhense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Dionisio Figueres made a huge save. Dionisio Figueres made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Augusto Quirino in the 23rd minute. Richard Correia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dionisio Figueres. 3-2. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

In the 55th minute, Adán Palacios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dionisio Figueres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Correia in the 56th minute of play. José Augusto Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Figueres having to interfere. Samuel Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raúl Gasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dionisio Figueres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caio Cabral in the 60th minute of the match. Real Armal F.C.'s Dionisio Figueres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caio Cabral in the 62nd minute of play. José Augusto Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Figueres having to interfere. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Alvinegro Carioca! Caio Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Figueres having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Máximo Maestro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charles Maranhense took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dionisio Figueres. Dionisio Figueres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. If Caio Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alvinegro Carioca's Samuel Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raúl Gasso in the 102nd minute of play. Real Armal F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
