The referee showed Fábio Cartagena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 3 played minutes ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Cartagena. In the 3rd minute, Belchior Conde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nuno Candeias came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Luis Molina. But to his dismay, Luis Molina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 15 played minutes ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO got a freekick which was hit by Luis Molina. Domingos Vilarinho hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 23rd match minute, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorencio Bastida to maneuver through the defense. Frodo Alabern hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Xorxe Soldado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO from getting a goal against them. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Estefan Hernandez pulled a muscle in his back after 29 minutes and couldn't finish the game. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Cebrián Hernandez was substituted for Estefan Hernandez. In the 31st minute, João Valadão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute Luis Molina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Candeias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th match minute, MEXACOMX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Valadão to maneuver through the defense. When Frodo Alabern came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frodo Alabern couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's Belchior Conde sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xorxe Soldado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mané Aguado to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Luis Molina got a free kick in the 53rd minute. If Mané Aguado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Mexa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Domingos Vilarinho came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the MEXACOMX fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingos Vilarinho couldn't finish the play. Xorxe Soldado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Mexa, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute, Belchior Conde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the game, Saturnin Alabern was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MEXACOMX the free kick. Saturnin Alabern kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. If Luís Mexa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafa Llorca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute, Domingos Vilarinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Belchior Conde was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. Belchior Conde hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The MEXACOMX supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's performance. The match ended with a win for ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO.
