In a very dangerous position, a player in Yaji FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! Yaji FC:s Gavino Bras showed great skill when he stopped Joel Lopes:s penalty. Gavino Bras was a little too slow when Gernando Quintal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. Giuseppe Queiroz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 29 minutes into the match. Gavino Bras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrinho Neiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Gervasio Faro hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Polentzi in the 75th minute of play forced Monumento Sports's goalkeeper Moisés Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Monumento Sports's Joel Lopes got a free kick in the 76th minute. Moisés Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Gorri, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Natalio Polentzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Moisés Antunes made a huge save. Natalio Polentzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Moisés Antunes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Yaji FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
