Evripidis Zisimopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Dida Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute Babbis Zervoudakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, PREZULO FC's Virgílio Marquez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fondas Balouris. Fondas Balouris yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 22nd match minute, ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Babbis Zervoudakis to maneuver through the defense. Fondas Balouris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgílio Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdir Ferraz got free with Fondas Balouris in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If César Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evripidis Zisimopoulos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fondas Balouris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgílio Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ defense, Miguel Chaves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fondas Balouris. The ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fondas Balouris should have stopped the shot. The supporters of ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ booed when PREZULO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Chaves didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Chaves in the 67th minute of play forced ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's goalkeeper Fondas Balouris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Spyros Kotsopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dida Brasil having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdir Ferraz in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fondas Balouris saved ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ from getting behind. In the 85th minute, Valdir Ferraz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fondas Balouris was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Fondas Balouris didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from César Cruz went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score.
