Gilberto Gamus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Rayman, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Pastor Ixona struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Ladislao Faro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golden Generation. Gilberto Gamus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Sanchez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th match minute, Golden Generation was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Gipuzkoa to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the game, Generoso Sasoin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gilberto Gamus. Generoso Sasoin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Thanks to some nice moves Mariano Ezkerra could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Gilberto Gamus however easily saved by the left post. Golden Generation's Gilberto Gamus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Ezkerra in the 36th minute of play. After 36 minutes, Evaristo Bittor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Golden Generation and the Gloria Verdinegra AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Evaristo Bittor kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Gilberto Gamus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Ezkerra in the 39th minute of the match. Gilberto Gamus didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 43rd minute, which inside left pole to 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Celso Gipuzkoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Gloria Verdinegra AFC were the better team. Gloria Verdinegra AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
