In the 16th minute Telis Bezas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Inko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los Irrompibles's Justino Inko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Telis Bezas in the 20th minute of play. Justino Inko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sotiris Tosodoulis went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Los Irrompibles's zone, Nikos Lianos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justino Inko came out of the goal and Nikos Lianos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Los Irrompibles defense, Nikos Lianos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Justino Inko. The Los Irrompibles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Justino Inko should have stopped the shot. Glyka Nera FC's Telis Bezas got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Viktoras Gavriilidis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Glyka Nera FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Nikos Lianos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sotiris Tosodoulis hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Benito Sabino made the kick off in the second half. When Telis Bezas came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Glyka Nera FC fans jumped to their feet. Glyka Nera FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Irrompibles the free kick. Nasos Lechritis kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. With a little luck, Los Irrompibles's Justino Inko got control of the ball when Sotiris Tosodoulis tried to sneak it across the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Generoso Berbiz's late challenge caught a Glyka Nera FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The shot was stopped by Justino Inko but with some difficulty. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Telis Bezas put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Justino Inko. Viktoras Gavriilidis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal.
