An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Goizeder in the 5th minute of play forced ΠΑΟΚ FC's goalkeeper Makis Tselementes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aris Voutsas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Johans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petros Giannakis in the 8th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Elpidio Furtado took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Makis Tselementes to make any attempt to save it. Stratos Tzolis made in the 14th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Defensores de Belén's Paolo Errapel. 15 minutes into the match, Marco Goizeder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Makis Tselementes. ΠΑΟΚ FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marco Goizeder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Makis Tselementes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Goizeder in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Marco Goizeder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Defensores de Belén's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ΠΑΟΚ FC the free kick. Marco Goizeder hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliver Atom got free with Makis Tselementes in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anestis Kapataidakis made in the 29th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Thomas Papagiotopoulos. Makis Tselementes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Goizeder, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Stratos Tzolis made in the 34th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Anestis Kapataidakis however managed to control. The supporters of ΠΑΟΚ FC booed when Defensores de Belén was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Selatse didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to ΠΑΟΚ FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Thomas Papagiotopoulos hit a great ball. Makis Tselementes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrosio Sergi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Petros Giannakis to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Petros Giannakis made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Defensores de Belén's David Johans tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Takis Saltamarass short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got David Johans to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 56th match minute, ΠΑΟΚ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petros Giannakis to maneuver through the defense. ΠΑΟΚ FC made a substitution. Kostas Triantopoulos replaced Thomas Papagiotopoulos. Petros Giannakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Johans made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Petros Giannakis sent off a good shot on target. Kostas Triantopoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Johans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Aris Voutsas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Johans having to interfere. Makis Tselementes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Atom, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute, Kostas Triantopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Johans didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 80th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aris Voutsas got free with David Johans in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Kostas Triantopoulos fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ΠΑΟΚ FC's protests and gave Kostas Triantopoulos a yellow card for diving instead. Kostas Triantopoulos hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. ΠΑΟΚ FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Defensores de Belén to leave the ground with a draw.
