The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Emre Özertem hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. When Alkan İldeniz fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BEŞİKTAŞK's protests and gave Alkan İldeniz a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes BEŞİKTAŞK got a freekick which was hit by Alkan İldeniz. Yakup Kadri Dilsaz charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yakup Kadri Dilsaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th minute, Yakup Kadri Dilsaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alkan İldeniz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mustafa Necati Erenoz. ƒ¢ тαяıк υηıтє∂'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 14th minute, Utkan Uzgoren made a precise shot to the right of Mustafa Necati Erenoz. ƒ¢ тαяıк υηıтє∂'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some careless play in the ƒ¢ тαяıк υηıтє∂ defense, Asaf Mete kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mustafa Necati Erenoz. The ƒ¢ тαяıк υηıтє∂ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mustafa Necati Erenoz should have stopped the shot. 24 minutes into the game, Faik Hasankeyf recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dinç Türk. Faik Hasankeyf showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After a rather tough play, BEŞİKTAŞK's Sergios Ramos got a free kick in the 26th minute. ƒ¢ тαяıк υηıтє∂'s Akgün Akkaya couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 27th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for BEŞİKTAŞK. ƒ¢ тαяıк υηıтє∂'s Mustafa Necati Erenoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Utkan Uzgoren in the 35th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, BEŞİKTAŞK's goalkeeper Dinç Türk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Faik Hasankeyf. A collision led to ƒ¢ тαяıк υηıтє∂ getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Emre Özertem hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Utkan Uzgoren in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mustafa Necati Erenoz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 48th minute, Utkan Uzgoren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BEŞİKTAŞK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After the first half BEŞİKTAŞK were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Faik Hasankeyf made a kick off. After 57 played minutes ƒ¢ тαяıк υηıтє∂ got a freekick which was hit by Barış Eryilmaz. Mustafa Necati Erenoz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Utkan Uzgoren in the 59th minute. After 60 played minutes ƒ¢ тαяıк υηıтє∂ got a freekick which was hit by Emre Özertem. Thanks to some nice moves Kubilay Sefik could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Mustafa Necati Erenoz however easily saved by the left post. In the 68th minute, Barış Eryilmaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, Alkan İldeniz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and ƒ¢ тαяıк υηıтє∂'s Mustafa Necati Erenoz didn't even have to move. ƒ¢ тαяıк υηıтє∂'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Asaf Mete scored to the left of an out of position Mustafa Necati Erenoz, making the score, 1-4. Kubilay Sefik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, ƒ¢ тαяıк υηıтє∂'s Mustafa Necati Erenoz got control of the ball when Kubilay Sefik tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of BEŞİKTAŞK booed when ƒ¢ тαяıк υηıтє∂ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oğuzalp İlkutay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mustafa Necati Erenoz came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by BEŞİKTAŞK's Kubilay Sefik. But to his dismay, Kubilay Sefik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. In the 84th minute Utkan Uzgoren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Necati Erenoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Asaf Mete kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mustafa Necati Erenoz. That made the score 1-6 in the 86 minute of play. Oğuzalp İlkutay hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. A collision led to BEŞİKTAŞK getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Asaf Mete hit a great ball. Akgün Akkaya kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. When the match was over BEŞİKTAŞK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ƒ¢ тαяıк υηıтє∂ throughout the match.
