Staffordshire Terrier FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A.Independiente the free kick. Jon Webster hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, Staffordshire Terrier FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Pinto came free, but Niall Deacon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 10 minutes, Graham Long managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Staffordshire Terrier FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Graham Long was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 10 played minutes C.A.Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Marciano Sotero. Felipe Bizen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Graham Long, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Marciano Sotero fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A.Independiente's protests and gave Marciano Sotero a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes C.A.Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Marciano Sotero. Felipe Bizen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Graham Long's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugenio Pinto in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niall Deacon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felipe Bizen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Graham Long, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jon Webster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Staffordshire Terrier FC's Graham Long in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A.Independiente's goalie prevented a goal. Reynaldo Urre came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Niall Deacon could save by the left post. Felipe Bizen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Graham Long in the 35th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Jon Webster made a precise shot to the right of Felipe Bizen. C.A.Independiente's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1.

The wind increased when Eugenio Pinto made the kick off in the second half. Graham Long took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felipe Bizen. Felipe Bizen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Jon Webster kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After having played for 67 minutes, Jon Webster managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Staffordshire Terrier FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jon Webster was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. During the 73rd minute of the match Marciano Sotero completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Marciano Sotero a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Marciano Sotero kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, C.A.Independiente's goalkeeper Felipe Bizen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brad Delaney. Graham Long recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rene Goyo fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A.Independiente's protests and gave Rene Goyo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Staffordshire Terrier FC booed when C.A.Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Goyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Graham Long recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Felipe Bizen. Graham Long showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Staffordshire Terrier FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
