Fabian Bartelak was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Teofil Jenkot showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 22 minute of play. Emil Marajda struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Oliver Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS Tęcza. KS Tęcza's Fabian Bartelak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save KS Tęcza from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Czarne Mamby booed when KS Tęcza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbyszko Mentis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Emil Marajda managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS Tęcza's supporters rose to their feet, but Emil Marajda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oliver Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half KS Tęcza were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emil Marajda was the one to do the kick off. Oliver Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roland Sala in the 56th minute. Oliver Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Marajda in the 60th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Oliver Kahn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Rafal Sobania received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Oliver Kahn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emil Marajda showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-6 in the 94 minute of play. The Czarne Mamby fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. KS Tęcza were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
