Cura del Futbol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constantino Peter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Cura del Futbol's goalkeeper Conrado Eron had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lutz Ertel. Pepe Kißling took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Conrado Eron. Conrado Eron dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Henrik Gorges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conrado Eron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otto-Stephan Keck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Hertha 1969's Lutz Ertel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Conrado Eron. Conrado Eron yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Eulalio Blanco got in the 27th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Christoph Heise handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Christoph Heise showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Blanco in the 29th minute of the match. Marcial Stephen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Christoph Heise tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Constantino Peter made a kick off. After 50 played minutes Hertha 1969 got a freekick which was hit by Lutz Ertel. Christoph Heise showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Peter in the 52nd minute of the match. The supporters of Hertha 1969 booed when Cura del Futbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Jakue didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Hertha 1969 fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Hertha 1969's Otto-Stephan Keck looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Cura del Futbol's zone, Otto-Stephan Keck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conrado Eron came out of the goal and Otto-Stephan Keck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that Hertha 1969 were the better team. Hertha 1969's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
