The referee ignored International Thunders's protests and gave Dennis Bartl a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of CLAYMORE COUNTRY booed when International Thunders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Bartl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romeo Dickens came out of the goal and Tim-Oliver Mayrhofer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. International Thunders's Mario Grebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Huber in the 15th minute of play. Mario Grebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derek Figueroa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Cedrick Bienvenue hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th match minute, CLAYMORE COUNTRY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timothy Harrell to maneuver through the defense. If Colin Schwarz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. CLAYMORE COUNTRY made a substitution. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fidel Huber was the one to do the kick off. Romeo Dickens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim-Oliver Mayrhofer in the 53rd minute of play. But to his dismay, Lars Hauff quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Romeo Dickens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tim-Oliver Mayrhofer went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score.
