Jens-Ove Åkesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesinha Saraiva in the 42nd minute of the match. José Pedro Pitta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ragnar Johnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jens-Ove Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vágner do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Magnus Tham's late challenge caught a Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
