Gladiadores's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xandeco FC the free kick. Xandeco FC's Sandrinho Catarinense was substituted for Fernandinho Sergipano. A collision led to Gladiadores getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Siro Theobald hit a great ball. Kauan Lago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evelio Baristo hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Kauan Lago kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Xandeco FC's goalkeeper Nando Proença, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Xandeco FC booed when Gladiadores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Theobald didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Gladiadores's Cesar Romelio got control of the ball when Kauan Lago tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cesar Romelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandrinho Catarinense in the 25th minute of the match. After 27 played minutes Gladiadores got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Baristo. When Gladiadores's Costel Eta in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matan Brito in the 38th minute of play forced Xandeco FC's goalkeeper Nando Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesar Romelio made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Kauan Lago sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th minute Sandrinho Catarinense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Romelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costel Eta in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nando Proença saved Xandeco FC from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Costel Eta was the one to do the kick off. Costel Eta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nando Proença having to interfere. After 55 played minutes Gladiadores got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Oroitz. In the 57th minute Virgílio Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Romelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costel Eta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Nando Proença made a huge save. Nando Proença made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Costel Eta sent off a good shot on target. Americo Mannie hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Kauan Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Romelio having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Kauan Lago left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Xandeco FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Xandeco FC's Nando Proença proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Xandeco FC from getting a goal against them. Nando Proença didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Costel Eta went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Nando Proença made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Costel Eta sent off a good shot on target. 81 minutes into the match, Costel Eta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nando Proença. Xandeco FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Costel Eta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3.
