Vinnie Small made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Tobias Lind sent off a good shot on target. Morten Andersen charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Morten Andersen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th minute, Morten Andersen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vinnie Small showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morten Andersen, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. With his leg Vinnie Small managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Ballkam Sportsklubb's Tobias Lind fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tobias Lind sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 24 minutes into the match, Ballkam Sportsklubb's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Mersø came free, but Johan Haugo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ballkam Sportsklubb booed when Clapham Comets F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jack Myers didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Christian Hovde managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballkam Sportsklubb's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Hovde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vinnie Small breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the match, Clapham Comets F.C.'s goalkeeper Vinnie Small had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tobias Lind. Johan Haugo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barney Bzeu in the 33rd minute of the match. Vinnie Small didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ballkam Sportsklubb's Tobias Lind shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Robert Thorne kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Barney Bzeu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Haugo having to interfere. Morten Andersen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Vinnie Small tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tobias Lind to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Clapham Comets F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Christian Hovde came free, but Vinnie Small reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Husa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Vinnie Small tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clapham Comets F.C.'s Vinnie Small played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Morten Andersen in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th match minute, Clapham Comets F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martyn Lawson to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ballkam Sportsklubb's zone, Robert Thorne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johan Haugo came out of the goal and Robert Thorne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julian Husa hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jack Myers during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 69 played minutes Clapham Comets F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jack Myers. A collision led to Clapham Comets F.C. getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Jack Myers hit a great ball. Tobias Lind took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vinnie Small. Vinnie Small dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Morten Andersen in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vinnie Small saved Clapham Comets F.C. from getting behind. The supporters of Ballkam Sportsklubb booed when Clapham Comets F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Thorne didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tom Rosický in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johan Haugo saved Ballkam Sportsklubb from getting behind. The Clapham Comets F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Clapham Comets F.C.'s Tom Rosický looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vinnie Small showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Lind in the 97th minute of the match. Clapham Comets F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
