After a defensive mix-up in Clube do Remo MZ's zone, Tobias Lind stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 35th minute of the match, Edinho Vasconcelos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Johan Haugo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Johan Haugo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edinho Vasconcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gernando Maciel's late challenge caught a Ballkam Sportsklubb's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. A hard shot by Thomas Zahl from long distance, 51 minutes into the match, got Frederico Smith's attention.
