Quexal Raigal had in the 9thth minute some difficulties stopping Amerigo Cesarini's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 9th minute, Amerigo Cesarini made a precise shot to the right of Quexal Raigal. Austral FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Amerigo Cesarini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fulvio Salerni hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Bernardo Abaurre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Juventus F.C. booed when Austral FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Messia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Austral FC's zone, Bruno Tomasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quexal Raigal came out of the goal and Bruno Tomasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Austral FC's Quexal Raigal got control of the ball when Ciro Cirone tried to sneak it across the goal line. Austral FC's Quexal Raigal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Austral FC from getting a goal against them. After 26 played minutes Juventus F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Emanuele Iovine. Paolo Rossi struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Quexal Raigal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventus F.C.. 35 minutes into the match, Austral FC's goalkeeper Quexal Raigal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amerigo Cesarini. Hustaz Ascot was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 36 minutes into the match. The supporters of Juventus F.C. booed when Austral FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hustaz Ascot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amerigo Cesarini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Quexal Raigal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Enetz Diestro made a precise shot to the right of Ettore Puglielli. Juventus F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Vitin Pazo kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Bruno Tomasso scored 3-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Quexal Raigal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fulvio Salerni kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Eyague Vilas hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Austral FC's Enetz Diestro got a free kick in the 78th minute. If Paolo Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quexal Raigal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Tomasso's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Austral FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
