When Flavio Di Matteo fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Mims's protests and gave Flavio Di Matteo a yellow card for diving instead. After 6 played minutes FC Mims got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Di Matteo. The Juventus F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Juventus F.C.'s Bruno Tomasso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Anthony Buonanno kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Anthony Buonanno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Mims's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juventus F.C. the free kick. In the 20th minute, Paolo Rossi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juventus F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Ettore Puglielli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sciamanna in the 36th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Juventus F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sciamanna came free, but Ettore Puglielli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Locatelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ettore Puglielli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 44 played minutes Juventus F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Antonello Pittelli.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alessio Ubriaco made a kick off. Alessio Ubriaco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juventus F.C.'s Bruno Tomasso was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 54th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A collision led to Juventus F.C. getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Emiliano Cavaliere hit a great ball. Alessio Ubriaco took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ettore Puglielli. Ettore Puglielli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Bruno Locatelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Mims's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Locatelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ettore Puglielli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Juventus F.C.'s zone, Alessio Ubriaco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ettore Puglielli came out of the goal and Alessio Ubriaco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Tomasso got free with Alberto Tomei in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alberto Tomei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Tomasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Amerigo Cesarini got in the 84th minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Alberto Tomei and thus it was 1-5. 91 minutes into the game, Bruno Tomasso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alberto Tomei. Bruno Tomasso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. Alberto Tomei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Tomasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the final whistle went the supporters of Juventus F.C. were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant FC Mims side.
